Company A was just about breaking even in the construction industry and appointed us as Financial Controllers for a near two year period. By first identifying the most profitable revenue streams, putting in place strong controls, building a great work environment, which lead to staff retention and increased number the company increased its profits ten fold.
Client B was a group of companies with several different trades. We created a highly automated monthly management reporting pack which split revenue by company, site and activity, enabling very in depth analysis of the group on a timely basis. We also did this without the need of changing accounting systems, something we only advocate as a last resort.
For client C the owners were at loggerheads and did not trust each other. As a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, our principal negotiated a practial resolution within a day, which stopped the very costly legal bills each side were incurring and more importantly putting the focus back on the business they ahd created.
